PERFORMANCE MANAGER

 

SALARY UP TO £30,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

 

 

The Cricket Board of Wales Ltd (CBW) is looking to appoint a Performance Manager to lead junior performance cricket in Wales and to establish a new Emerging Player Programme (EPP) in partnership with Glamorgan Cricket.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- To manage Welsh age group coaches and managers.

 

- To co-ordinate a new CBW Emerging Player Programme for the most talented young cricketers in Wales in partnership with Glamorgan Cricket.

 

- To co-ordinate CBW National Development Centres and their link to Regional Squads.

 

- To oversee girls’ Welsh age-group coaches and managers and the senior women’s national coach.

 

- To contribute to the development of Welsh performance coaches.

 

 

Key Skills Required:

 

- A proven track record in performance cricket coaching.

 

- A clear understanding of talent development and what is required to move talented young players towards the professional game.

 

- The ability to lead, manage and inspire Welsh national coaches and managers.

 

- Outstanding communication skills.

 

- A minimum ECB Level 3 Coaching Award and outstanding track record in working with children.
