CBW U12 TOURNAMENT VENUES – TRAVEL DIRECTIONS (From Swansea)

 

 

Clydach CC                                                                           Ammanford CC

 

Junction 45 M4 – take A4067 to Pontardawe,                         Junction 49 M4 – follow A483 to Ammanford.

Go for a couple of miles to next roundabout                             Follow road into Ammanford and just before

& turn left on to B4291.  Go straight on thru                           major traffic light junction in middle of town,

Mini-roundabout and turn right on bend into                             turn left into Lon Tir y Dail.  Ground is in centre

Vardre Rd.  Take immediate right turn into                               of park on the right.

Capel Rd & first left into Vera Rd.  Then take

Second right into Waverley Rd & go straight

On to ground at end of road.

Junction 48 M4 – at end of slip road, turn                                From Swansea University – follow A483

right and follow for a couple of miles.                                      north towards J47 M4.  After passing Tesco

Turn right at Black Horse pub & follow,                                  on left at traffic lights, turn left at next

bearing left into one way road at fork and                                roundabout onto A484 – follow signs to

follow.  Ground will be by new housing                                     Gowerton.  Eventually you will pass Harvester 

estate – keep left.                                                                    Pub on your right – travel for a few hundred

                                                                                                yards – ground is on right, just before rail bridge.

 

Port Talbot CC                                                                      Mumbles CC

 

From Swansea University – follow A483                                  Follow signs to Mumbles on A4067 & go

Eastwards as far as possible – then follow                                 thru Mumbles village towards lighthouse on

A48 towards Briton Ferry (do not join M4                               sea front.  Follow road past lighthouse to

 on slip road).  After crossing A48 bridge                                  Forte’s Ice Cream shop & turn right up

go straight on along A48 thru roundabout                                 the hill.  Travel about 500 yards - ground

and after about 1 mile turn right at roundabout.                        is tucked away on the left in trees.

You will go over small bridge by Baglan

rail station & then turn left at next roundabout.                       Llanelli CC

Take left at next roundabout & ground is on

your right.                                                                                Junction 48 M4 – bear left on slip road & follow

                                                                                                road several miles to Llanelli.  On passing several

                                                                                                roundabouts you will eventually reach one

Ynysygerwn CC                                                                    just past Morrisons on your left and a

                                                                                                McDonalds Restaurant in front of you.  Here,

Follow A465 past Neath and leave A465 at                              follow 3^rd? exit to Coastal Route.  Follow this 

next roundabout, follow signs to Aberdulais                               road for a few miles until you reach the A484

Falls – you should pass the Falls and Dulais                                Sandy Rd.  Follow Sandy Rd for a few hundred

Rock Pub on your left and after a few hundred                          yards until you reach Denham Avenue on your
