Club accreditation
ClubMark
Accreditation Scheme in Wales:
Clubs have a vital role to play in the development of young
players.
Clubmark will set the entry level for an increasing network of cricket
clubs providing good quality cricket programmes for young
people. In addition the Clubmark accreditation scheme is fully
integrated with Safe Hands the ECB’s welfare of young people
in
Cricket policy. It is
likely that accredited clubs and those working towards accreditation
will be given priority over others when applying for future
funding. We hope to have at least 50 accredited clubs by 2009
in
Wales.
At present 52 clubs, Pontblyddyn,
Newport, Pontardulais,
Bronwydd, Carmarthen Wanderers, Llantwit Major,
